It's time to get rid of/put away yhe generic no-name boots I bought at the local markets, so i went shopping for a new pair.
Tried on both Dri-Rider and R-Jays boots. The R-Jays were too tight and the Dri-Riders too loose in the heel, and that's in my size. The generic cut just didn't fit. So, I was shown a pair of Alpine Stars. Brillinant boots and worth every penny.
However, I didn't have $AUD599 (on special) to fork out on a pair of boots. Instead, I've ordered 2 pairs of SIDI boots - the B2 (Black/Anthracite) and a pair of Strada Rain (they only come in black).
They fit perfectly - you don't feel as if you're wearing them. I love the way that you can adjust them to mould to the shape opf your calf too.
I didn't intend to purchase Italian race boots, but after trying them on, they're really worth spending the money on.

One for dry sunny days and scratching/track days - the other basic everyday/wet weather/go to work. (Saving for a Ducati) Also got normal every day bike gear as well as as set of 2-piece race leathers. Also, the B-2s are "water resistant" while the Strada Rain is waterproof.

Sidi Vertigo Mega Gore-Tex has all the features of the B2 and waterproof as well.

MacLeod Accessories, the importers, didn't have any. I only saw them on the net at home after ordering the 2 pairs from the shop.
Oh well, as you say, they're comfy and that's the main thing. You'll also get twice the wear with two pairs!:msn-wink:

Jeez, they're shiny nice boots. Too expensive for me. Heck, my whole motorcycle cost only $800!!!
These are my boots. They cost $0.
I got them for free from a KBer who didn't need them anymore.
They are ugly and worn but they do the job. They are more Hillbilly that Hillbilly's boots!

I've got a pair of Technic power skin boots I've been wearing for about 10 years. I think they were $100US. Fit me perfectly. Dry in the rain and not too hot in the heat. I have been thinking it's time for new ones, as the soles are pretty worn down.
So many boots to choose from. But, most importantly, what will match my bike? And, not to forget, do these boots make my feet look bigger? :bash:
