Set of Continental Road Tyres

Front - Conti Sport Attack 120/70-17
Rear - Conti Road Attack 180/55-17

This set of tyres are virtualy brand new. Looking back at my records the tyres were put on my SV at 23,421km and were taken off at 23,762km when it was a wreck.

Although I didnt have much time on these tyres, they were the best set I had ever riden on.

$300 for the set

Sorry to take your thread slightly off topic, but how did you find them? Wet, dry, commuting, sporty riding etc?

I've used the sport attacks, they're brilliant, stradas and road 2's are brilliant around town, so interested in Continental's take.

Buy my zx10, the next bike will quite likely take something like that, so good opportunity to try them :msn-wink::rolleyes:

Hey Gremlin, I absolutly love Contis. I ran road attacks on the SV from about 8000km on when the OEM pilot roads were shot. The bike did every thing, comuting, touring, track days, etc, and I managed to get 12,000km out of the set, including a south island tour.

My only complaint is that once they where a about 1/2 to 2/3 worn the front started to get a little vauge in the wet on the open road. I was never to sure if it was a tyre problem or if it was suspension related. I was in the process of thinking about doing some suspension tweaking when the tyres came up for replacent so thought I would what till I put a new set on till I played round to much.

Although I didnt get a chance to do many km's on the sport attack it didnt take much to realise that it is far better tyre, and I was REALLY going to like it. Would have been interesting to see how it was going to wear comuting, but alas I didnt get the chance:crybaby:

I looked at your 10 online and thought about getting one, but instead there is a nice new Triumph Speed Triple sitting in my shed, I thought about keeping the tyres and using them on that, but figured I would be better to have the money in my pocket now and some nice fresh tyres when time comes to replace them.
