Price to set my bike at??

Just wondering what price would people think I could get for my hornet.
And be reasonable im not out there to sell it as a bargin you sell things at top dollar unless your thick don't yah.

14000 km , 2 new tyres ( $600 )
mods - Exhaust banzai racing x 2 have got silencers made ( cheers warren )
- carbon fiber rear guard and knee inserts
- after market rear seat have to be seen cant explain it.
- k7 gixxer headlight
- Bar ends

Reason im thinking about selling this as i had my we accident as some no... ( only cosmetic damage ) and every thing is all brand new, not a thing wrong with it just thinking about something a little diff now.

So any proper advice would be good.

Oh crap btw its a 2001 honda hornet will have new reg when i pick it up from the painters, and has a wof for 5 months. not a thing with it and it goes bloody well for a 250, and people under estimate the hornets.

Ive seen hornetts around on trademe, always around 5k which is such a rip in my opinion so id never pay anything around that. My budgets pretty tight but in saying that id pay probably 3.5k - 4k? but then again your mods... and im stingy :niceone:

haha yeh what year are they tho, I no what you mean but ui payed more than 4k to begin with when it had dones 9000km, and it was mint back then to .. its just even more so now . Dont see many hornets around with the stainless exhaust either

I think that it evens out. Sell now for not too much, and buy your next bike now for not too much. Or sell in spring for lots, and buy your next bike in spring for lots. So they just cancel each other out.

And oil cooled fwiw. More than I can say for a cb250rs. Even has six gears and a electric leg.

However as it only has 21hp it is plainly at a disadvantge to the mighty rs but not a gn with a not quite so massive 17hp.

When is better time to sell a bike? I'm selling my bike as well, and it seems hard to get rid of it now.

Depends if you're looking to buy a bike asap again?

My theory is that if you sell and buy in winter then you get a low selling and buying price, in summer it's the opposite, so it evens out really, as long as you find a bike to buy in the same season.

If you're just looking for cash from your bike sell it in spring/early summer.

$4000 yeah if it's in decent condition and low k's.
