Facilities: toilets, showers, place to buy booze (yuck, VB) and meals are also available there.
They also sell firewood.
Basically when we settled at the track Thursday night after a trip to Cowes, we didn't bother leaving again until Monday.
Got sick of onsite food, but stuffed if we could be bothered going out. the weather was crap, so bought lots of souvenir clothing - definitely make sure you take warm clothing.
The guys/gals in the campervans near us were great - they let us steal their fire.
Checked today and the cost is $80 (up from $75 last year) per person for the weekend. Trackside camping doesn't appeal as I do need some sleep, so would definitely go for the highside campground again. Airfares are pretty horrendous, so that's what's stopping me booking again now - anyone know of airfares cheaper than about $1500 - leaving Thursday, back Monday, 2 adults (last year was under $1000). Bloody petrol prices.
