The Princess Bride is sooooooooo much better :msn-wink:I haven't seen The Princess Bride so I don't know how that'd compare to Top Gun.

Basically, that character played by Tom Cruise in that movie was a role model for me when I first watched it at the age of 2 and a half years old. I continued to watch that movie over the next 14 years every now and then and I continued to want to be like Lt. Mitchell (Maverick).

It's just that, I love aircrafts (even more than I love bikes). Especially the F14 Tomcat, which IMHO is THE most beautiful piece machinery on the face of the planet. To be a fighter pilot of one would be my ultimate fantasy. Also dogfighting, becomming the best of the best etc etc is something that is very appealing to me.

I actually was doing well in school cause the one thing I wanted to do was be an air force pilot here. Since the cancellation of the Sky Hawks, my dream kind of died with it. I have other interests now and I have the passion that I have found for bikes and racing.

Still, I could just go home and watch that movie again and I'd still enjoy it. It's just something that brings back sweet memories of the years gone by. That's why Top Gun is the coolest movie ever for me...

P.S. I probably was initially interested in bikes cause of that movie. Also, I love the soundtrack! :niceone:

Sorry, I missed your Q that time round. Did not pick up any this time cause it was like a ghost town there. All cause of WAY too many cops. There were more cops than people there (well... almost). This time I think the real party was near Whangamata. Still managed to have fun anyway. The weather was awesome too!

OK, did a bit of research on the net and, shit this is some News to me! Apparently trashy ain't the only one who reckons the movie's gay or it is favourite amongst gay people.
<O:p</O:p
Meh... I couldn't care less really. I don't live my life in a certain way just because someone says I had to do things that way. If some people have doubts of me being a heterosexual, then that doesn't really bother me. The fact that I am sexually attracted to women is enough proof for me. I will still continue to like what ever things I like and be secure enough to admit it openly.

<O:p</O:pIt's still my fav movie for the reasons I gave in my first post in this thread.

You're not your job. You're not how much money you have in the bank. You're not the car you drive. You're not the contents of your wallet. You're not your fucking khakis. You're the all-singing, all-dancing crap of the world.

Listen up, maggots. You are not special. You are not a beautiful or unique snowflake. You're the same decaying organic matter as everything else.
