Off-road riding for children in Warkworth/Wellsford?

Does anyone know any places for my 6 year old to ride in the rodney district - Warkworth/ Wellsford etc? Woodhill will be ok but is a fair time in the car and I can't exactly pop over there.
The boy is pretty good but I need to find more places for him to practice. Any ideas?

the only places i know of is the forestry tracks in the dome,
and the subdivision up the end of Morrison Drive.
the owner doesn't mind people riding there.(well didn't mind when i had a dirt bike).

Have you looked at mini motocross?? North Harbour Mini Motorcross have racing once a month, a very fun atmosphere that isn't full competition, more about fun for kids and gives them a good experience. Most of the racing is done up around woodhill area but it can give you good contacts for other places to ride. www.northharbourminimotorcross.co.nz
