I've been struggling with the daily commute on the beast for the last few months mainly due to sore wrists and numb hands from the vibes :(. After seriously thinking about selling it (I got a couple of good offers, but would still mean losing too many $$$$'s for my liking!) I finally decided to see what I could do to make the bike more comfortable on a day to day basis.

After fitting some stomp grips (which were good at taking some weight off the wrists) and Motovation bar ends (virtually eliminates the vibes) I've just fitted some Helibars (http://www.helibars.com/) with new gel grips. Took me just over an hour to fit and WOW what a change! They look pretty much stock and only raise the bars by an inch or so, but they make a massive difference - no more sore wrists! They do make you sit a little more upright, so you catch a bit more wind, and it's also a little easier to wheelie (oops officer) but apart from that I can't believe that $400 can make such a difference!

So highly recommended if you're a Sports bike rider (or w*nker) with sore wrists!

I used to have a pair of heli-grips on my Busa. It made all the difference in the world. Something about proper ergonomics that takes the tingle out of the wrists...
