Who does it - who would be interested in me organising something?
I have no-where up this way to hunt, but can help organise a fishing trip if enough people are interested? Likely to be $150/head for a day out on a chartered boat. Or we chip in for fuel and a thank you to anyone actually with a boat.
Thoughts?

My cousins in Auckland quite regularly go hunting a few hours north of dorkland, they have an arrangement with someone up that way, mostly shoot goats I think.
Could talk to them and see if they are able to take others up with them?
Actually thinking about it I should really get my cousin onto KB.. he's into dirtbikes in a big way lol.

Sounds like a plan stan!
Also... 2 possible fishing boats mentioned. One in Whangaparoa (permission being sought and no pressure at all), and one in Coromandel which might make for a fun day out - ride, fish, eat and ride home.
Keep the ideas coming - end of the week I'll start formally orgnising something if people are up for it.

Just hang around any Gupta booze-shop.
Anybody running out of one (particularly with a weapon of some sort) is fair game.
Of course it's pretty hard to get a Douglas score for a liquor-store robber as the have no horns/antlers/tusks (I guess they're a waste of a good bullet when you think about it)
But I figure this: The more deadly the weapon they happen to be carrying - the higher the points they're worth.
Of course those sorry-arse baggy 'gangsta' dung-catcher baggy pants and floppy tops make it hard to identify where the actual 'kill' area is eh!

Be in for some fishing and shooting. Have a variety of hardware, depending on the target - 22 or 223 for bunnies. Armalite be the one for South Auckland Gangsta hunting...

MDU. There is a charter boat that goes out from Helensville. Might be worth a look. You do require half a ton of lead to get the line to the bottom when out at the heads though!
Charter boat Assassin is based out of Leigh(?), another option but for the East coast.

It depends... there are some around Auckland that are worth shooting, just for the ivory...
