G'day folks,
Well i'm keen to do the Coro Loop this coming Sunday (15th) and i'm inviting you all to join me.
Now i've only got a 250, and a few of the folks who I know would join someone like me only have 250's aswell so speeds will be full blat.. for a 250.. *cough* 120 *cough*
So yeah, come if ye' like, boost ahead, hang around. Don't much bother me.
Now i've not down the Coro loop enough times to memorise the routes per say so if someone came who actually knew the way, that'd be bloody brillaint. If not, i'm a fan of winging it for a laugh.
So if you're keen, 9am at the Autobahn. Drop me a text on 0211344468 or chuck us a pm if you're keen, or just turn up in true KB fashion.. See you out there.

That'd be a rare thing indeed..
And to all you slackers with lame excuses like "Oh i'm in Australia" or "Oh, i've got the most important exams of my life" I'd like to read you a line from the chapter of Chopperoo. Harden the fuck up!
And to Gubb, top effort mate! I'll catch you there.

Ahh the riding id great! me i think i have close up a little over 3k since i arrived. i am as sore as hell but it is so much fun. i can't post pics yet as i forgot my USB cord for the camera. got some nice pics of my old mans trump which you will like.
the gsx750 i am riding has had work done to it, it is insanely fast for a 1984 bike. i chickened out at 220kph and it was still pulling hard at that speed.:gob:
There are some beautiful spots to ride over here. i was under the impression that it was going to be flat and nothing but that is not the case at all. every ride i have been on so far has been nice and twisty and reasonably qick.
I lost the front brakes coming home the day before yesterday, the piston jammed in the master cylinder that was exciting, rinding home for 350km no front brakes! :shit::bash:. We went over to Des (the guy i am browwing the bike off) and he fixed them so front bakes are good but we got brake fluid all over the tank and down the fairing which etched into the paint so yesterday we took a brake from the riding and i spent 4-5 hour polishing the bikes. i will have to take some more pics of the gsx as it has come up really well.
it is as hot as fuck over here though i am sitting here in my shorts and a tee shirt and it is 6:30am:yawn: i was so hot last night i had to sleep with the window open
I will try an make it to the next Wednesday night ride but i think my wife will have other planes for that night:shutup::innocent:
Did that mate of mine turn up for the last Wednesday night ride? i told him to he would get a lot out of it. anyways enough rambling from me.:nono:

Haha, some of the tags that people put up always crack me up..
Well so far, i've got 5 or 6 people confirmed meeting me at BP Autobahn in about an hour, and i'll be heading off soon to find out who else will be there.
Looks like a good day for it too.

Hey mate, if I miss the Autobahn meeting time, i will catch up and meet you at Kopu. Are you going kaiaua first or straight down the main highways?

Hells bells that was a riot.
4 people rode. Me, Isaac (Macstar), Brian (Just beginning) and Glen (Glice).
Met up at BP Autobahn and it was sunny as satan's bedroom, couldn't dream of a better day for riding. Which lasted all of.. say 10 minutes. Hit the road and at first there was heavy fog, nothing we all hadn't been through all ready. And then say for the next 7 hours there were heavy, non-stop down pour.
I guess it pays to actually check the weather instead of going on a 'gut feeling'. But none the less it was fun, roads were soaked and tyres were sliding but it was still fun. The Ulysses motorbike group had some sort of BMW convention, they went before us and we beat them into Kopu taking some back roads. Then we stopped in Kopu for a wee bit and they passed us. And they I think they why trying to teach us a lesson.. or something. Cause from then on they showed us how much they couldn't control their bikes. Hammering it on the straights and slowing to sub-30 for the corners.. that was stressful.
Then they buggered off and we were free to ourselves, went quite well, we all lost each other somewhere around whitianga and all found each other at the coroglen pub. All day breakfast is highly recommended.. huge, feast of a meal.
Then Isaac boosted it home because, as usual, he had someone to meet. And the 3 of us just mucked around alot on the way home.
I can't feel my arse, my boots are filled to the brim with water, all my leathers are dripping, my balls have shivelled into near enough nothing, but it was a pretty wicked ride.
And i'll be doing it again next week on saturday!

Way to go Josh...nothing like a bit of 'stamina' riding, look on the bright side, the 28th could be exactly like today :shifty: but lets hope not.
