Teknic stockists in Auck?

I've been looking at some Teknic gear on the net, specifically the Teknic Violator jacket (new or old model, either seem good to me) and the Teknic sport leather motorcycle pants.
Only thing is I can't find any of this on the net that a) will ship to nz or b) in my size and I don't know any shops in Auck that stock Teknic.
Just wondering if anyone knows where to find it and if it's any good.

Vitually any bike shop should be able to get in what you want. There wouldn't be too many shops that don't have an account with W Whites (the importer of Teknics gear).

mmm, but I want to try it on first and I've found that there usually isn't a great range of gear held in store =/ , especially pants.

Shops can get things in on a 'sale or return' basis from the wholesalers. Perfect for trying things on before buying. If a shop tells you they can't it's because they just can't be arsed - so go elsewhere.

I bought my Teknic jacket down here at the local Honda shop so am guessing any dealership up your way will stock them,very good jackets by the way,had mine about 7 years and its still as good as the day i bought it.

I got my Teknics jacket from red baron.
They have Teknics pants there also

Red Baron seem to have a reasonable range of Teknic gear.

well as far as i know teknic is about the only thing that red baron sells at rrp ... everything else seems to have the magic 12.5% gst ON TOP of the regular price
