We are leaving on the 31st july for 10 nights and 11 days!! Bring it on! Sadly no bikes, but hope the weather is nicer :bleh:

Just noticed this thread and the map, it's almost the same as we used to do when I was on the "Tofua" (banana boat) way back in the early sixties.

(I was very young, very fit, very healthy, very active and very "thin" back then! :wari: )

Seventy passengers and a seventeen (approx) day return trip from Auckland but it took in both, Western Samoa (Apia) and American Samoa (Pango Pango) as well.

After a (heavy) week in Auckland it started all over again! :woohoo:

Hey y'all! We're baaaccckkkk!!
Just a short note...

The trip was (eventually) pretty good. After an extra couple of nights in Auckland (2 extra in the hotel and 1 on the boat tied to the wharf) we got underway on our shortened cruise. The itinerary got changed and we went to Noumea and Isle of Pines instead of Fiji and Tonga. Hired scooters in Noumea and tripped around the place for the day. Isle of Pines is an island... that has pines on it... and very little else. Met some great people, had a blast and didn't feel like getting up for work this morning...

Notes to remember when going on a criuse;
There is more food than you can eat - you will NOT go hungry!
It's a boat - you can't get up and go for a ride on your motorbike.
Alcohol will cost ya - in your pocket, not just the next day.
