Some nice bikes in those pics, thanks.
See the pics of them uncovering the Agusta F4? Probably the least impressive bike of them all.

Many of the vintage bikes were just too nice, the vault queens (ie take it out of the vault, show it, put it back in the vault)
Best in show was an unrestored Indian

Liking the look of this headlamp & front fork arrangement. Liking it purely for esthetics though, I'm guessing it's not the comfiest ride!

Took me a while, but it does make sense.
Rear column (with the rose joints) is fixed. When the front axle rises, the front link rotates (as its top pivot is fixed). As the front link rotates, its linkage pulls against a small lever which compresses the spring.
What amuses me is that after all that effort, he goes and puts a drum brake on the wheel.

The Hailwood Honda was at the Puke Classics race this past Feb, having just been given a slightly drawn out rebuild by our own Ken McIntosh.
The owner gave it quite a few blasts around the track, sometimes running together with Sammy Miller on a Gilera 4 GP bike. Earsplitting combination.

I was there! :D He was short-shifting though, but I still can't forget that sound
