I can assume that these would be no good for fully open throtle work, only decent for cruising. But it's a good idea... might slip a bit in the weather though...

They are good, I've got one on my ZX9, great for long rides when you want to flex your fingers a bit.

Word of caution though make sure you have it twisted far enough around to avoid accidentally reving the engine when you don't want to.

With regards to it moving around , they don't, they are sprung so that they only twist clockwise, they clamp tighter when you wrist weight is on them.

I'd give it an 8/10 as a useful gadget

What's the sleeve of your jacket doing attacking your throttle?!? Fasten it up, I say!

I have one that I used to use before I let the death grip go and also changed my handlebars, it worked well.

I bought mine over teh Internet. It cost $US12 inc. postage.

I have nerve damage from my spine right down my right arm and this thing has taken the pain out of everything from the daily commute to long trips.

Make sure your controls and bars are setup properly for YOU and your personal ergonomics before you go spending money though.
