Thanks every one in the MotoTT crew and flag marshals... Was another awesome trackday, as usual :Punk: I'm definitely going to have to learn better lines, lean angles etc on the 600, but, I didn't crash and thoroughly enjoyed myself out there... So all in all... I'm stoked :D
After the track day yesterday and riding to Tokoroa and back through pouring rain today... I've decided to keep the 600 :banana:
Hopefully see you all at the next one :)

T'was an excellent day - I made some real progress on the '10, and surprisingly didn't button off when it got a touch damp.
Great stuff you'se MotoTT fullas!

Woohhhooooo :woohoo:
Was an awesome trackday!
The track was bit cold and got wet around the end of the day; tyres still had bit of wax around the edges and i had the worse ever ride the night before (riding in the fog with 5m visibility at night in winter for 50kms..i know: HTFU but i really hated at bikes at this moment! lol)..So did not started very well for me...
But Motel Kiwifruit is awesome and by the morning I was all ready for the track!
First sessions have been pretty slow: bike felt weird with the new tyres and new handling and had to get used to the track again...But then...I went faster and faster and finally got this right knee down!!
Best time: last session, only 7 bikes on the full track, but I did not see them, except Bigbossman that passed me first laps, I was by myself lol! You kinda asking yourself if you maybe did not see a flag or something lol!
So big thanks to MotoTT organisation, marshalls; nice to meet Peter in person, huge 'merci' to Gary and Joshua (sorry, nt sure about the spelling..:() for organisng trailers so i had to ride back only from Auckland to Leigh! You rock guys! oh and good catch up with the Taupo crew (really sexy bike Jas!)

First things first, much love to Meekey and Aero (and family) for putting me up at their place and convincing me on the day to get onto the track for the first time as I'd only actually come down to watch and not participate. Thanks a heap. ;)
I'm with Xile concerning my opinion of heading south, it worst ride down from Auckland EVER. Riding through the fog a few hours after her left much to be desired. The only reason I made it through the fog was because I could follow car lights and even then my visor had to be up at most times as the oncoming cars would cause all sorts of sparkly effects through the condensation on the outside of my visor.
I'll be mentally preparing myself for my next time on the track and hopefully the weather will be better! The drizzle made me a tad nervous at first but it's not nearly as bad as it is on the road. It just took a few laps to build that faith as I was riding my daily commuter around the track. I guess this just means I need a race bike. ;)

It 'was' a good day again! Great people and great weather (for the morning at least) for the middle of winter!
:calm:
It was a relaxed day and I didn't organise our official photographer Alick, but Sam Bailey, a budding photographer, was there and took around 120 photos. He hasn't got a web site, but if you want to ask him for any shots his cell # 0275 645 027.

I took some 'shaky cam' videos of a couple of sessions (not the last one unfortunately Cecile'!), I'll post them up even though they are crap.
Pity my bullet cam didn't arrive on time!

Had myself a ball on saturday, thanks to all involved with making it a brilliant day !
Did bail early, but it was a call that had to be made at some time or another and with it starting to rain, all i could think of was wet gloves and nads for the 3 hr ride home !
Glad i did start kitting up when i did. Was only a bit of drizzle tween Taupo and Turangi, with it turning to crap again for a wee while going through the sisters. Rest of the trip was in sunshine !
Only got a couple of shots off during the day and got me hand smacked for one of them lol
See ya all at the next one, this time hopefully with a cam mount on the bike. On the rear for starters, but a few more tutorial sessions like that and it'll have to go on the left shoulder, to catch a few looks of distain as i pass ya's (once i get a bit of mapping done on the 3, ok ok and maybe a pc)
Cheers MotoTT wish ya were down at manfield once a month as well !!!

Was trialing out a GoPro camera on my RS250 and my friends R6. Unfortunately some teething problems so not much footage but have since rectified these issuesso next time there will be plenty of footage.
Two videos looking backwards mounted to the Swingarms of both bikes. Sadly the sound wasn't set to the right setting so it not shit hot.

Would be nice if MotoTT held some Manfield days :)!
In regards to photos, could MotoTT provide Sam with some storage on their site?

Here's some shite footage of the 4th medium group session - sorry about the quality, the Canon TX1 obviously isn't made to handle vibration!
