Goodbye to a friend and fellow biker!
Sadly a great friend has passed, he was battling with cancer for the last 18 months and did not manage to win the war. He leaves behind a great wife of 25 years, 2 boys and many friends.
I had the most amazing time and pleasure of knowing Stu for the last 9 years and he was always a lot of fun to be around, at the beginning we all used to go drinking every weekend and got ourselves in a state or two …ooops… that made way to drinks at home and the odd BBQ on the front lawn watching the world pass by, or wandering down to the movies…or yelling at the Rugby, and if the weather was nice we even got out on the bikes. I was always hugged for turning up with afternoon tea, usually something naughty and with cream!!
He had the great way of calling a spade a spade and gave hugs freely and was always into having a joke....we always argued the Ford vs Holden, loved bikes and bourbon….he rode a Kawasaki and loved it and just had a custom paint job done, not that he got to ride it much lately. He loved Rugby, Cricket, Car Racing and Bikes, followed by a little (yeah right) bourbon and a ciggy…and he was happy in life. He was easygoing and would always be there if you asked… a great friend!
Its hard to explain exactly how much he meant to me and the impact he had, his wife and I went shopping all the time and we all even went on a ‘Family’ holiday last year to Aussie. We were all meant to head on a Cruise together this year as it was something he really wanted to do, sadly he will only be joining us in spirit. His kids call me ‘Mum 2’ and I love his wife like a sister and Stu like a brother, he has been taken from us all too soon, he was only 49.
Goodbye Stu, you will be forever missed and loved, never forgotten! You will always be my “Master” and I will always be your “Mistress #1”

Stu... fuk sake tears before I start the bloody post...
Ok, yeah Stu... been to a few parties and bike rallys with him, a hard case and a lot of fun, below is a pic of Stu at the 07 March Hare Rally... Hey Liz how bout a pic from the dress up party when he and the missus (Ray) were dressed up as school kids :2thumbsup
Now having been through a similer death with my old man I can understand what Ray and the kids have been through... cancer is simply a cunt of a thing, the treatments and their side affects are often worse than the desease... cruze on Stu.

Sorry for your loss. I also lost a great friend to cancer about 10 years ago.
Thank god for the memories cos at the end of it all - that's what it's all about.
It's not so much about how they died but how they lived!!!

My thoughts are with you at this time Liz. I lost my friends Mum to cancer only recently so I know that at this stage they are trying times.
Memories are always forever, especially the good ones

Really sorry to hear this. Like Rashika said, Stu was a real nice guy who was always upbeat and cheerful whenever I saw him, despite having the inevitabilty of cancer hanging over him.
More big hugs coming your way from MrsB and I:grouphug:

Hey Liz... I have so much to say about this, and wish I was a wordsmith to I could get it "on paper". I apologise because I'm really not able.
All I can say is that I'm here for you. If I know you, you're right there in the middle of it, busily helping everyone around you get through this thing. When the time comes and you need a break just know there's a couple of us out here thinking of you, and wishing you well.
Kia Kaha
As for Stu - I only met him once and I liked him straight away - cheeky bastard. Hell of a nice guy and I would have liked to know him better. I won't get that chance now - I believe that's my loss.
If Rae or the kids need something that I can help with yell.
