Bookings closed on the 22nd. I guess I should have posted this earlier. <img src="/forums/images/smilies/oops.gif" align="top">

You can still turn up on the day and pay $200

I will be heading along myself for a look see, but not racing.

There are further Track Times on the 21st December 2003 and the 1st February 2004, so get your bookings in.

Think I'll be going down for a look if anything. Might as well get a speeding fine for $200.

How does Tracktime differ from a normal practice day, or Vic Club race day? Or are they the same sort of thing as race days?
And what with all that Armco barriers in the photos of Pukekohe? Can't be a good place for learners??
Is the $130 worth it compared to other track options?

track time differs because all the armco gets hidden behind big hay bales, marshalls get posted on corners and marshalls also ride around to keep things in order (stop monkeys hurting themselves and others) and also show people good lines through the corners. you also get lunch!

the $130 is worth it for the first few times to get some experience and advice but $200 is a bit steep.

All going well, and as long as they let me pay cheap, i should be there on the LONG anticipated release of the VFR/RVF NC30/35 (NC30 frame, NC35 eng) and many many other strange bits!.&nbsp; Hope i do get out there... Still awaiting clutch cable so i can do oil change after tearing around block the ndrill sump plug etc etc etc, the list still goes on with only like 5 days to go.. sheesh.

hehe CK :)

there was one tiny off by a random dude coming onto backstraight.

Baby B, Mitch, Myself were the KB'ers out there.. SPman, Spankme, and Curious George, turned up for a look.&nbsp;Oh and BestFun was there&nbsp;in&nbsp;one of them Orange suits, marshal or somthing?&nbsp;Great day all in all.&nbsp; Lots of fun, im sure everybody learnt somthing or at least gained some more confidence and experience of puke.

Loved it! now just bought some brakepads for the rear so i can have backbrakes (people like me who are scared to engine brake thru the gears @ 14,000rpm need them :) its cheaper then engine rebuilds)

Hey, wasn't it a great day ? The rain went away and stayed away, the sun shone at

times, and no-one was hurt.. :D&nbsp;&nbsp; Also it was neat to see nearly everyone getting better and faster as the day progressed - this is the best part of Track Day.

Thanks Curious George for taking some&nbsp;photos, kinky as I was in my Tism-type orange overalls (like kinda playsuit for grownups) and stuff.&nbsp; I like flag marshal - ing, it is exciting at times, sorta useful, and cold/hot and boring at other times.

Anyone out there reading this who would like to try it, PM me.
