Didn't see the first one which is unfortunate as it's a good watch. May sound boring to many I suppose but the intrigue in court makes it as good as any modern day thriller (less the car chases and shootouts) IMHO (and as a wee added bonus, tudor-time titties are great!).

I love this series... watched it each Sunday, infact going to buy season one and season two on DVD asap (as I missed some of the programs unfortunately) . I love the history, the clothes, and Jonathan Rhys Meyers, although he looks nothing like Henry VIII (isnt a gingernut) , he is pretty damn fine, hmmmm!!!!

I am hopeing there is going to be a Series 3!!!! He still has four more wives to get through!!

I downloaded all the series, and watch them as they come out State side

Be a while before next season is out tho )c:<

'The series has been renewed for a third season to air in 2009, with production slated to begin on 16 June 2008 in Dublin, Ireland.'

Another series i watched while ago, which was good was Rome, was only two series before it was canned, but on 'Julies Ceasar' <sp>

We download also. Wife and I both enjoyed the Tudors, both seasons. Looking forward to season 3 next year, although I liked Anne a lot more than Jane.

We watched both seasons of Rome as well this year ... thoroughly enjoyed them.

Sorry to dredge this up... amazing what you find on a search of KiwiBiker!

Just finished watching series 2 of the Tudors on DVD tonight... man, they dragged it out with Anne didn't they? Her acting was great though, I went from hating her to loving her.

I really enjoyed the Rome series too and it's been long enough I am about ready to watch it again.... Although I have bought a discovery channel series about Ancient Rome to watch before I see it again for the "real" story - only coz every bastard in the UK has been taught it all at school and can still pick holes in the story... I'd like to prove I'm not just watching it for the sex and violence ;-)

Very good...

Already watched it online, so am scratching and waiting for season 4. Is good but still thought season 1 was the best.

I stopped watching it when a friend of mine who has a degree in history told me it's not historically correct. I was a little suspicious that King Henry was so deliciously hot.

Well yeah, I wouldn't view everything that happens in the show as the 100% historical lol

But I enjoy it as the Tudors & Stuarts is one of my favourite periods in history

season 3 was a bit boring i found, they rushed thru alot of stuff, it sorta like there is a new director or something, but its just not feel the same.

Still good none the less, watched them ages ago when screen state side, they in process of making at series 4, set screen early 2010 again,
