Seriously... infact, just beaten to death with the gun as they aren't worth the bullets. :spanking:

Just got an email this morning from one of my bosses (Yes I have more than 1 job). Some fucking waste(s) of space decided to go to Ardmore Airfield during the night and vandalize 2 of our Aircraft

Who the fuck thinks to themselves "Hrmm, I'm bored, lets go fuck up some planes". Looks like both of them will be U/S for the atleast a few days.

Whats happening to this country? :Oi:

/end rant

I heard that a plane had it's fuel tank emptied recently too. These dumb f*cks don't give a shit for the possible consequences to pilot and passengers eh ?

Yea it's completely beyond me.

The place where it happened I just work as a casual instructor, so was on training Aircraft and not Air Transport.... but still.

Fortunately, Pilots are trained to have a good inspection of the Aircraft before we fly them, and so whoever noticed it was doing their job properly.

Ardmores had a real problem with dodgy people around the Airfield lately, so hope they step up security.

Wait for em, catch em, cut their fingers off and spraypaint their eyes........yes they'll spend there days being paid by WINZ but that's probably their employer already- just means it save us money having to pay for police investigations for their future crimes- and repairing future vandalism......

always going to be a problem the way ardmore is laid out, some proper fencing and a more proactive approach to security would go a long way to improving the problem.

True - but its so sad that they even need to protect planes against vandals etc. Why would it ever even enter someones head to damage them is beyond me.

Bummer for the damage guy - but glad you spotted it at ground level.

You are right, it is beyond me also, It is a sad reflection on the general lack of respect for people and property that we seem to be stuck with these days.

but if you start thinking why do they damage planes you gotta think of why do they paint stupid shit on buildings, the same buildings over and over again till hte business goes out of business. or why do they walk into houses beating the crap outta party goers for fun... etc etc etc

difference is that the damage done to that aircraft- had it not been picked up would more than likely have killed the occupants, so a new level of vandalism, if caught they should be charged with attempted murder, it's worse than cutting someones brakes.....

One thing I have been sitting here thinking about for a short while: Was the vandalism obvious or was it devious - i.e. sabotage which is not readily visible.

Vandalism is bad enough - if it's the other there's much more reason for concern.

Who the fuck thinks to themselves "Hrmm, I'm bored, lets go fuck up some planes".

Probably the same kind of people who'll key a nice car or topple a nice motorcycle. Envious fuckwits who have no respect for other people's property.

What exactly did they do? Sounds like it demonstrates an awareness and/or expertise. Sabotage vs. vandalism...

I actually don't know as I haven't seen them yet. I only work weekends there, and just got the email this morning. All I know is that at least one of them had a problem with the doors, so assume they kicked it in or something as the description from the boss was "Vandalism". Doubt they were trying to break in, if they were then they aren't too smart as the planes aren't locked!
However I think that might change now....

I was going to ride out and take a look, but really can't be bothered

Well, air-racing in a pair of Cessnas would beat Golf-cart rally hands down for an awesome conclusion to a night on the piss! :2thumbsup

Let's hope the planes aren't damaged too badly!
