Anyone know of a good i.e. recommended dentist in Wellington. My usual dentist doesn't have evening appointments and I have a tooth I want pulled out. I'm not paying $1400 (quoted) for a root canal, they can pull the f*cker out. I have only two requirements;
Evening appointment
Value priced
Hell if anyone has a clean pair of pliers and the guts to cause me pain, the bing it on. In the interests of not commiting murder though, I should see a dentist... Can anyone help please?

0-4-567 4752 - naenae dental - they are the local emergency clinicians .. and the ones that Grub finally let do some work (therefore they must be good) .. they operate 6 nights a week.

I use Symes De Silva cos they are open evenings and weekends. In Courtneay Place. 0-4-801 5551
but they are probably relatively expensive, flash premises, lots of dentists, nice decor.

Mark de Berry in Khandallah is a top bloke. Drives a Porsche and hates the HP. Always good for a story or two about the efficacy of a Valentine on the Desert Road when closing on The Pulsing Fuzz(TM) at speeds approaching twice the legal limit.

Yep, either that dude or his Mrs, Hamoud, who runs the clinic above the AA across the road from Queersgate. She's really good at pulling teeth out, she's done several for me including a couple of wisdom teeth and I hardly felt a thing until I had to pay the bill (which probably wasn't as bad as most).

Cathrine Lloyd is a very good dentist. Can't tell you about evening appointments, and I doubt what she charges could be regarded as value. But she's damn good.
Contact details halfway down this page. http://www.lumino.co.nz/index.php/pi_pageid/77/pi_regionid/2

GREAT TEETH ROCK!!!
I went in there and 20 minutes later I was done! I got the tooth sorted and a comprehensive report for $160. It wasn't the hellish experience I've had befpre at dentists. He used no anaesthetic (checked with me beforehand) and I didn't feel a thing. I've been back for more and paid it off.
It's experiences like this that change your perception on things. :niceone:

Spent 3 grand last yr (had neglected them for the last 10)
Wasn't into pulling no more (only one gap and thats enough) so went with a rebuild !

I'm not overly enamoured with dentists but this guy (Stan Litras) - the service and treatment he gave me have gone a f*cking huge way to redressing that. I can't speak highly enough of him.

Nah, the receptionist that was there on Sunday was a pretty white girl, huge tits and a great smile. I think that may be why Malcolm suddenly feels the need to chnage dentists! :whistle:
