Wow, just came back from the vet (no, not for me :p) and got told that my [[god]] DOG is pregnant!
It's a beagle, mated with a beagle. We're situated in Auckland. They are due within the next month, so if anybody is interested in purchasing a puppy of their own, please get in contact with me.
Beagles these days are not cheap, but are darn cute at all stages of their life as they don't grow up to be a horse, and don't shrink like a chuiaiua. They would be available for purchase in probably 2-3 months, that's my estimation.
Here's some pictures of her last litter as an atatchment ;) and note that hunk in the picture is yours truely
WARNING: These pictures may make you go AWWWWWW

All jokes aside - those are very cute puppies.

AAAAWWWW.....*swoon* they are so very, very cute!!!
My son would kill me if he knew I'd seen these and didn't ask for what kind of price you're asking for a pup...PM me if you'd prefer.
Thing is, hubby and I have been waiting to be able to buy a house (currently renting) before we could get my son a dog. So I might not be able to look at the little fellas in 2-3 months time, but might be interested next time around, as my son's is keen as for a Beagle.
Oh and funny typo in your original post: Your what? is pregnant? lol...

AWWWWWW!!!
I had a Beagle once, he was a little shit, but only because I couldn't spend as much time with him as he needed, but a real cutie and fantastic with kids etc, very good natured when they can stop sniffing where there may have been a worm two weeks ago!
I'd love to take one as if I was to get another dog it would be another Beagle, but we're not allowed any more animals *sniff*
Post us some picys when they're born won't you!

Good dogs those beagles - great with kids and no aggression.
However they need firm, consistent training. They are not for those who can't afford the time and effort to train.
This is my Beagle here:

Perhaps I should speak to the Mrs about getting him a buddy......

Just an update, Rosie, the pregnant dog, is expected to give birth in the next few days. Very exciting stuff.
The male dog is getting very pissed off... Rosie's running around humping him all day... Lucky man.

Yeah... there's not good news. Rosie was expected over a week ago, we fear that the puppies inside her are not alive. We have a vet appointment in half an hour to find out wether or not she will be having puppies.
Will post back the results.

Only a week?
They should still be usable (http://www.recipesource.com/ethnic/asia/filipino/00/rec0001.html).

They're all right if you gut them quickly and get the meat on ice.
Anyway, the chilli in the recipe covers a multitude of sins.

They're gone. The vet says that day 45 never happened, and that she "absorbed" the puppies. She has to take some sort of tablet twice a day which makes the remains of the puppies come out of her body, no idea how.
Shit happens I guess. :bye:

Yeah, the vet says that she's healthy enough to give another litter in another 6 months time when she's on heat (lucky scamp - her husband haha).
It could have been worse, she could have been fertile. :shit:

Have you considered suicide? Won't help with your reading and comprehension at all, but would do the rest of us a favour. :spanking:

Oh no.... Never saw this thread until today. Sorry CB ARGH, it's never nice when things like that happen to your beloved pets.
Have you thought about putting the mumma dog onto some vitamins/minerals? There's a high possibility that she had to "absorb them" as she didn't have enough vitamins or minerals in her to supply both puppies and her. Most good health food stores have a range of health products for animals
