:psst: Hey ... hows it going??
I love the site!
After a wee bit of lurking, and making myself sort of familiar with the site, I thought I'd take the time to introduce myself.
I must say I love these wee smilies!
My name is Rachel, and live in a bloody cold Christchurch.
I have recently learnt to ride, 6 months, and I have to say I absolutely love it! I will never go back to being a pillion ever again!
I love the thrill, freedom and bug splatter
I'm just a quiet rider at the moment, gaining more and more confidence everytime I go out, though not much joy with winter here, but hey, watch out for summer! I think I have done very well in the short space of time riding, well hubby definately thinks so.
I have learnt to ride on a 650 straight away. Naughty I know, I'm meant to learn on a 250 right? But my excuse would have to be that my big arse just wouldnt look right on a 250
I am currently swatting the road code aiming to have L plates by the end of winter. I am so looking forward to being legal!
I don't own a bike as such, but I have (my) Tiger at my beckon call, currently locked away nice and snugg! It's my hubby's bike, BUT will soon be all mine!!
Its a whole new world out there being on a bike, and the people I have met so far are just fabulous! Much more so than I antisipated.
I definately look forward to getting to know you all, and joining in on some rides in the near future.
Chat soon!
