Been having a look at some related threads and found this.

''Yoshi - do a nice Zook Pipe
2 Bros - nice sound - quality is sus (Had on VTR)
Arrows - nice pipe but pricey
Akrapovic - sexiest kit around - hellishly pricey tho
Micron - bloody good pipe for the money (had on my R1 - nice sound too)
Scorpian - nice lower end pipes - good sound
Neptune - good pipes.''

The CB1300 needs a new Can and my first thought was Akropovic/Yoshi/Micron. No I dont need the three, just one.
Had a Neptune on the Triumph, and it sounded great but, there are shit loads to choose from and would it be correct that the Akrapovic would be the right choice?

Indeed, they do look sweet Mr Rua. Where could I find a Campbells?
But it wouldn't take much to outdo the giant tampon that is my existing can.

Looking to sell my 955 S3 but dont know if i wanna lose the carbon can on it !
Looks like a good thread to get a few ideas (sorry for jumping on ya thread Maha)
Anyone know if the 955 3 into 1 would bolt on to the 1050 ? (could unbolt everything and try it but sooo much easier to type)
Started the 955 tonight (aint been going for a month or so and its off to the shop morra need the brand new tyre lol) and it just sounds so much better than the 1050s twin stock set up ! Picking it will up performance a bit too as the standard 1050 3 into 1 into 2 is such a heat trap they had to use a cast collection box !

Sounds like you have a hard time justifying the price tag on the arrow system as well.

anywho, back on track..

As I said in the other thread the old ladys CB has the Leo Vince can on it and that has a bloody nice sound to it especially when you remove the baffels. Out of your list I would be inclined to go with the Microns, good sound and probally the best value for money (although dont qoute me on that)

Akrapovic's are dear for a reason & that been they are used by SBK bikes & GP bikes not to hard to figure out why . If money is the trouble then any of the rest will still be a great pipe

That's a pretty good looking can but a $1000 bucks is starting to get cracking along price wise, paid $830 for my Arrow on the FZ1 (including a hideously expensive connector pipe) and i'm really happy with it.

Off with the new and on with the NEWER!!!

Just fitted the new gleaming oval thing to the Honda.
I beleive this is the first ever Neptune fitted to a CB1300.
Huge thanks to Mark at Neptune, once again you have done an awesome job mate. It sounds fucken sweet and deep.....

Oh, and the little extra bit you sent?...guess I will need that at some stage, in about 5 months...:shifty:

Here are the before and after pics.

I recognise the background in that photo. There does seem to be a flaw in your camera lens tho...was there supposed to be a bike in the shot?

I don't reckon.
But I'm not sure I've heard my Satantune apart from while riding it.
It certainly doesn't fill me with awe. :pinch:

Na the Neptune came with a butt plug, easy enough to insert that when the time comes....:buggerd:

Here is what I was told in regurads to other mufflers, I was not going to wait 8-10-12 weeks. Neptune got it done inside a week and for a real sharp price.

There are no Micron's in the country at the moment (not with the supplier anyway, you could try your luck & call every Honda dealer to see if they have one... but what a mission that would be). From the supplier you are looking at approx 8-10 weeks if one is placed on order, possibly longer.

Muzzy: As far as I can gather Muzzys have never made a pipe for the CB1300

Leo Vince: (as seen on the CB1300 for sale on KB... I believe) $789. Unsure of colour or baffle options

Arrow: According to the supplier they have no listings at all for the CB1300

Scorpion: $595 for Stainless Steel. Removable baffles.

None in the country at the moment. If you wait for the supplier to place next order ETA is 12 weeks. If you REALLY want one we can get a one off order just for your pipe, ETA 3-5 weeks. Be aware however that freight will be stupidly highly (in the $100's I'm told). Also cannot confirm at this stage if the other colour options cost more than the Stainless Steel one.

Two Brothers: They dont have any pipes for the CB1300
