It's a one year club birthday celebration! Quick run down below but a little more details can be found on the website.

• Car parking at rear, bikes at front
• Bike show with over $200 worth of prizes
• Free pool Tables
• Free Food
• Drinks on Tap (no Byo)
• Event Badges Sold On The Day

Where:
Noon on August 9

Cost:
General Members & Invite Admission- $6 per ticket

Kids are free, so bring them along to enjoy the friendly celebration

Cut off date to purchase a ticket is July 30th

Bike Show, Free Pool Tables, Free Food, Drinks on Tap (No BYO!!)

Money And Tickets:
Event badge being sold on the day (cost to be confirmed later).

Please return the ticket slip on the invite flyer completely filled out. For information on paying please contact us at ChromedKnuckles@slingshot.co.nz. Once payment is confirmed you will receive in the mail an entry badge. Please clip or pin the badge onto yourself in a visible area on the day. Security will be present to look after the bikes and an eye out for gate crashers.

So if you are interested just let me know- send me along a message via PM. It is a fairly open invite but pre-pay ticket purchases are the way it's getting done so that we know numbers (for food etc) and also so that people coming are people we actually know. :drinknsin

Event on rain or shine - just if rain the bike show is off and pre-pay ticket slips will be drawn in a raffle.

Just an update - the event badges being sold on the day I believe will cost $11 each for those who want them.

They will be cloth stitched badges, roughly business card size.

Image attached is something similar to what they will look like but will be a bit different once I have time (minus the blue line things).

Seems people are having trouble depositing money into the account for the birthday bash.

I will have to go to the bank tomorrow and see what the problem is. It may be still activating or something, or waiting for Jeremy (V. President) to come in and sign some paperwork as the co-signer for the account.

Good ol' biker gathering, there will be plenty of familiar faces.

Also just had word - we now will have a professional photographer on site who will be taking photos of the festivities and also he will be more than happy to take photos of you with your bike. I will talk to him a bit more - we may even set up a back dropped area for people to pose with their bikes.

MET service says rain is clearing tomorrow.

And even with a bit of rain, please keep in mind the venue has a veranda that a fair number of bikes can be lined up under. I'd really like to give away these prizes in a BIKE SHOW and not a raffle so please try to bring your bikes.

Also, if you plan on getting tanked, the venue is happy to arrange a taxi or I will arrange a ride for you. If you come by bike and get tanked, I have a bit of storage for bikes on my property, both covered and uncovered. Please be safe, but you are well covered if you want to let lose!

I'd like to thank everyone who came. While the weather ended with only 3 bikes showing (and a 4th bike when some random saw the other three lined up) it didn't stop people from showing.

I think all up there was 25 people.

Congrads Rollestonchick and Imdying for winning the Jim Beam hat and shirts, and congrads Grubby and Raj for winning the $100 bar tabs. And of course congrads Kram for winning the bike cleaning voucher.

Here are just a few photos I took when it was just kicking off. I will have more photos later that were taken during the festivities.
