Might not be able to see the white bikes...

Had toyed with the idea of going down to take some pics, but I suspect camera shake would be a big problem....

Yes indeed it was a bit chilly...
Snowed pretty hard on saturday, it kept going after these shots were taken.
Keeping the hands warm and attached to the motorcycle was the biggest battle!! The track got a bit slushy but held up ok, Sunday was clear and cold with the track becoming really chopped up and rough, great fun though!!
Amazing how fast the top guys go on a rough chopped track, impressive.

I decided the drive was too risky, shame on me.... Grace and I could have made quite an impact on the spectator numbers..... That looks ... :cold:

I was actually amazed how may people were there considering the weather report, I don't think numbers would have been much down on last year, I hope someone got some good shots on Saturday, I think the guy from bikesport.com was there, I saw him there on Sunday, hope he got some pic's of Saturday too. Wait and see I guess.
It was awesome sitting at the start gate with snow covering the track, a perfect white track to destroy, there must be some nice pictures somewhere.

I went as pit crew for a local quad and it was indeed bitterly cold but really good.
The snow on Sat was just hilarious to be in .
A great event with celebrities including Aaron Slight,Mary Perkins and a King or two as well.

Hey Guys,

I came over for the weekend from Australia with my mate to race at this event. I was # 265 in the clubman class and my mate was # 912 (Hurleys 07 bike) in the intermediates. This was the best racing experience I've had. Snow, sunshine heaps of piss on the saturday night with my mates Ken Fell & Matt Humphrey & a 2nd place in the Clubman class. The hospitality the Kiwis showed us was exceptional as was the racing. Aussies have a lot learn from you guys. I will definatley be back next year as well as coming over for some events at Ken Fells.
Thanks to everyone involved

I found you in there mate but not #912 in the intermediates??
I was in the intermediates as well. Think the first 3 or 4 in our class could have stepped it up to the open as there wasn't many in that class and they were just about on their pace...
Loving the transponders this year.
