Ok guys, as if you didn't know here is a heads up for anyone on the east coast of either island:

"Next round of heavy weather set to hit
11:42AM Wednesday July 02, 2008

Snow down to 300m is predicted for eastern Otago at the end of the week.
Wind gusts of up to 120km an hour could batter the east coast from the Wairarapa to North Canterbury tomorrow morning.

MetService forecaster Ian Miller said the winds would hit exposed hilltops on the Rimutaka Rd, Castle Point and parts of Marlborough and the Kaikoura Coast in the south.

He said people on motorbikes and drivers of high-sided trucks and campervans could face dangerous conditions.

Mr Miller said three active fronts were rolling in and would move up the east coast bringing bursts of heavy rain and thunderstorms.

He said the heavy falls were expected on the West Coast and Nelson and MetService had issued a weather warning to these areas.

Mr Miller said high ground between Taranaki and Lake Taupo was set for a drenching from today until Friday and thunderstorms with wind gusts of up to 110km an hour could also batter the region.

Looking ahead, a cold snap is due to hit Eastern Otago, Fiordland and Southland with snow down to 300m on Friday through to Sunday.

Parts of Canterbury are also set for a freeze with snow down to 500m."

Take care out there

Dang, I hope Saturday isn't like that.

How long before you get another bike and are out riding with us again? Kram's bike is buggered as he put some nasty petrol in it and it has to be all flushed out but he's intending to come along on Saturday. And so is Chuck and maybe Jeff and Jody.

I am not sure. The bike itself has arrived and the tank and guards are away getting painted. There are a few changes to the bike like air filter, exhaust, oil tank etc and its a matter of waiting for the parts to arrive. I am hoping it'll be ready in the next two weeks at the outside.

Just in time for the Chrome Knuckles Birthday Bash! hahaha

Put in the bike show, might win something!

Probably going to be that the prize for best Cruiser will be the hardest to win - best sports bike probably breezy lol.

Krams bike has a custom flame job, jeremys white and bright has custom everything nearly, and if Davo's $60,000 harley shows... dang dang dang :P

Edit-

Tshirt orders went through yesterday so should have then maybe as early as friday!

Bad weather came through a bit tonight. You didn't even have to look outside at work to tell because all of a sudden everyone was sprinting to be back inside lol

You were right and apparently so was the weather man (Go FIGURE!)

Chuck called of the ride.. I went to vist me mums... then it started

Came home just now and front of my cuts and gears were sheeted with snow. Much to my surprise, motorists seemed to be driving very safely today.

Have an inch of snow on the ground out here and Im only 300 meters.
No wind, just lots of snow falling.
Dont think it would be very wise going anywhere in this,
Hope you guys who do go anywhere think long and hard before doing so.
Not a day to be on two wheels, even four could be hazzardous if not very carefull.
Time to sit back and sit this weather out.
