With all the trucks expected on the roads tomorrow I think I'll be tootling past the queues on my bike. Sounds like a plan for another unofficial ride to work day?

I'd love to ride to work whenever I can but I need my car for work ... this will be a sort of valid excuse to take the bike :)

Wish I could be in town to watch it. God it'll be crazy with trucks in the city. Would be wicked to get an aerial shot of it all! :D

I should be riding straight into it tomorrow morning around Petone. Will be interesting. Hope they don't completely block the road and/or make passing them on a bike dangerous. Otherwise, best of luck to them. :scooter: Might snap some pics if I get a chance (and there's anything worth snapping).

You'd be amazed at just how many people have their head stuck up there butt then... mark my words... there will be heaps of people wondering why traffic is so bad and calling radio stations and other organisations trying to find out the cause of their delays

Ha ha, read it in the papers today *Much like everyone else*.
Thought, 'Sweet! Don't have to unload 3-4 tonnes of produce tomorrow!'
"Nah nah, Alan's company is still delivering produce"
'WHY?!'
That pushover!
Gah.
Best of luck to their cause, wish I could ride around for the fun of it =)

I am hoping to go and park on Queen street till about 7:45 when I have to shoot up north, so hope they come through before then!

BLOODY GOOD ON THEM.. :2thumbsup

BOUT TIME SOMEONE STUCK TO THE GOVT..:2thumbsup:2thumbsup

Maybe all the bikers and car clubs should come together and protest on the phenomenal amount of tax on the fuel... $0.62 on the litre I think!:angry2:

NOW THAT WOULD BE FUN!

Haha, that was a joke. Just got to work in Welly, rode in through Petone. There were millions of CARS, but cant say I saw more than a dozen trucks the whole way in.

"I know, we'll tell them there's gonna be a kazillion trucks at 7am tomorrow clogging the motorway, so everyone will leave home before 7 and cause gridlock!"

Either that, or the truckies slept in this morning. :shifty:

Was a lovely ride in though. Nice weather, cool sunrise, slow cages. I hear Auckland is worse off though...
