That's simply excellent - I like what I've seen of the GoPro, pity I won't be down for this one but look out for Biggles08 (Marcus) on his black '07 ZX6R. He's having the underseat pipe changed to a side pipe (looks horn) - he may have my DVR and bullet cam set up on his bike.

Im looking to take some race wins in group 2 hahahaha na just be racin around with my old man gettin some lessons like the old days, actually last time i rode with him i was 6 i crashed in front of him in a drain he had dug for a water pipe on the farm, my helmet got stuck on his footpeg and he dragged me a good 5 meters or so.......... hmmmm maybe that aint such a great idea..?

Should be a good one (all be it a cold one), is vastly different from riding in summer? i know the tyres are going to take a while longer to heat up, but how much longer? 3 laps?

Keen as mustard, and been hanging out for a while now.

Depends on the tyres Tickler... Give it a minute or two longer than you normally would. There won't be as much grip as there is in summer but there will still be loads of grip available. Be smooth and progressive as always, you'll be fine :sunny:

As always....great day and run so smooth thanks to the great folk at MotoTT. I was really happy with my performance and was lapping at the same pace as I was on my 636. Bring on the bling and we shall see....hehehe. Thanks to all the marshalls standing in the cold too....and it was cold!

Was an awesome day alright! Prayers were answered with the weather, amazing! Great fun taking my new (toms old vfr400) bike for a spin for the first time. Race shift was easier to get used to than I envisaged.

Goal for the day was to get a low 2:00 minute lap and possibly get my knee down, but got a 2:02 on my first lap and knee down multiple times during the day, which I was stoked about. Ended up putting down a few 1:55's and a 1:53 in the last session. Pretty pleased for my second track day. Bring on the next one!

My 'blonde' moment for the day though was running out of gas in the third session, second lap. The old bloody 'she'll be right' bit me on the ass again...

aaah tom's old vfr. If you look pasted the very average paint job it's actually a great little bike. I've had that bike in my shed more than once straightening out bits and pieces. That bike has history.... to say the least

Well matt black has been one of it's better colours. I remember we once painted it a very nice "vht creamy yellow" colour when Tom unlawfully borrowed it out of the police impound...
