As a relative NOOB to adventure riding i was trying to find out what is available to go on the rear of my DRZ400 & my partners DR200.
I know there is a pack rack available for the DRZ400 but nothing available for the little DR. QUESTION ?? Are there any packs / bags that strap straight on the the rear fenders, we do not want anything too large or heavy to weigh the bikes down to much. Any suggestions or photo`s would be appreciated.

I've used saddle bags on a self built frame to keep gear weight low. Check out what your rear guard is bolted to before adding to much weight. Just MHO - Cheers .:2thumbsup

Just purchased a ventura pack rack from cycletreads in Auck today.
Got pack rack, mounting brackets and a extra sport rack with a Spada 45L pack :rockon:for $299.Looks easy enough to fit but will find out tonight::argh:

Went for a test ride afterwards ( all repairs/adjustments require test riding ) and everything is great. If anyone is thinking about pack racks or bags and packs they should definately check out the Ventura range. It took me only 15minutes to fit and is an exceptionaly well made kit. :jerry::jerry::jerry::jerry:Pack is primo.

Ventura is good gear alright. Pays to pack heavier items low in either the side pockets(if you need them often), or low in the main bag.
This helps to keep CofG low as possible.
Clint640 has some nice "Andy Strapps" throw overs. Low C of G, and carries big wine bottles well.:Punk:

Ventura's chrome turns to rust in a couple of weeks. Their black plastic-coated racks are great. If you've got the chrome, paint it right away with black woodstove paint, which will last pretty well. Or coat it with epoxy. I complained to the vendor that my Ventura bars rusted: he accused me of letting them get wet.

Rack i have got is already black, so no worries there about the chrome rusting. Still have to sort out a seat bag or similar for my partners DR200.
Havent been able to come up with a suitable solution for this little bike yet.
