Fingers crossed for me as well. Last meet I only managed a couple of laps in practise, bike is having fueling problems and fouling the plugs, didnt bother going back on sunday. Been trying to get the FXR in the shed ready over the last month but cant see that happening. I have borrowed another carb for the RX so will try that this weekend (to bloody cold in the shed a nights lately) and hopefully I will have a bike running.

Tenative dates for 2010, tentative because I got them from the kart club calendar. Too lazy to look at a calendar to see what days Labour weekend is so that's why there are three dates.
This could all be completely wrong by the way.

February 13 - 14
March 13 - 14
April 17 - 18
May 15 - 16
June 19 - 20
July 17 - 18
August 14 - 15
September 18 - 19
October 23, 24 , 25 Labour weekend
November 13 - 14
December 18 - 19

I'm not sure but the guy who updates the bucket results broke his back

I am the guy who updates the AMCC bucket results & forwards them to another guy who updates the website & yet another person who produces the club newsletter. I also arrange the race calendar each year & that goes through the same distribution process. My broken back did stop me from riding for a while, but it did not impact setting the calendar etc. I am not very regular on this site so didn't realise that the race calendar was a still mystery to some. I also see that the AMCC website currently only shows dates 2 months ahead:
http://www.amcc.org.nz/updates-events
So here are the official AMCC bucket dates for the remainder of this year:
15-16th May Round 7 + Dominic Howe memorial
19-20th June Final Round 8
17-18th July 2010/11 Round 1
14-15th August Round 2
18-19th September Round 3
23-24th October Round 4
13-14th November Bucket 2 hour
18-19th December non-points fun day
See you on the track!

The internets has defeated me again, AMCC doesn't seem to list the bucket calendar, when is the next meeting?
It better not be this weekend I'm already commited to off road riding.

Because Tim is a far more eloquent scribe than myself, I will simply re-distribute his words here:

Hi (Auckland) Bucket Racers.

The bucket fun meeting originally planned for the weekend of December 12-13 has been cancelled. Historically small entries, the proximity to Xmas and to other bucket racing events, and the fact that there is another fun meeting in January has brought about this decision.

Here is a list of other bucket racing events happening in December through February. See the Bucket Events Calendar on the AMCC website (www.amcc.org.nz) for more details:

Dec 5-6: North Island Bucket Racing Series round 1 at Tokoroa kart track.
Jan 9-10: North Island Bucket Racing Series round 2 at Taumarunui kart track.
Jan 30-31: Bucket fun meeting at Mt Wellington kart track.
Feb 20-21: Auckland buckets round 5 at Mt Wellington kart track

For those that can't live without their December bucket fix, come to the NI round at Tokoroa, free camping and great company.
If you haven't been to any of the away meets this one is the closest and we will run whatever grades required to make sure everyone gets plenty of track time with riders of about the same pace.
The track is awesome, the google maps satellite view doesn't do it justice as you can't see the evelvation changes and won't get any idea of just how cool the blind left over crest at the end of the back straight is. It is smack next to the Tokoroa airfield if you want to have a look.

Auckland club just ran their fun day and I put a work mate on my #4 FXR150, he had never done even a track day and the last time he rode he broke his femur and ended up on crutches for 7 months.
I stuck a camera on the back and the race is here, not bad for a first up try, the race was a combined A & B grade with a couple of the faster B graders chucked out due to the grades being bottom heavy.

You will have to skip the video forward 6 or 7 minutes as I have no editing program.

Hi guys, this is the new 2019 AMCC championship season.
Just because the ice rink has gone doesn't mean we are finished.
The Gixxer cup boys are able to join us at Hampton Downs club circuit plus they are also welcome to run the series if they get their bikes track protection sorted.
They will run with F4 and score points like any other bucket, contact me if you are keen.
