my new bike, well not really its 07, gasgas
when i start it and let it run
is it meant to piss out fuel relly fast from the carb if it gets leaned over a little, not lots really. if i put the stand down and the stand sinks a bit so the bike tips over a bit further than normal it starts gushing out the bottom really fast??
is it meant to do this
it is my first 2 smoke tho so im just not really that sure
but dad says it definately not meant to do that??
so i dont know

Why do you think its called a Gas Gas?:woohoo:

In all seriousness it might be worth checking the float level.

My 250 EC does it any time I park it on a lean - I figure it's float bowl but too lazy to do anything about it. It dosen't leak parking on the hard though

if the fuel tap is open, chances are it would leak fuel if tipped far enough, running or not. not sure that it should be gushing though. i nearly dropped one of my old ginnys once, and it leaked fuel due to being so far over.

id also suggest the float being set wrong and overflowing the bowl. got the book? its difficult to explain on a forum. that or google what to do

Yes do you have a manual? It should have the float level specs in there for a start.

My mates KDX did this too, and it was the float level.

If you search "justkdx" on google there is a full explination plus pics which shows you how to do it.

At a guess I'd say the float level specs would be the same as a KDX. And you may have to try it as gasgas don't tell you in the manual they provide, although you can download more manuals off their website (but don't think any have float level specs).

It will be the float level but it still might be ok. Worth checking out though. And the seating of the float needle. It my only be a bit of dirt and a slight adjustment. Danger is correct though you need to know from the specs what to set it to.
My Ktm does this and my float level is alright, but my side stand seems to tip the bike over a bit far, more than others I have looked at, so its a bit munted I think.
