View Full Version : Some help/advice please
My daughter lives in Hamilton and wants to but a scooter to get around on. She has seen something that she likes and can afford. Can anyone give me any feedback about the bike/company/warantee etc? Thank you.
The scooter she is looking at is SYMDD50 and she is talking to www.thescooterbar.co.nz. Apparently these are assembled in Taiwan and inported by Triumph NZ.
Basically what she is looking for is a scoot she can ride on her car license at this stage, though we are talking getting a 6L and maybe looking at a bit bigger bike.
Your thoughts?
Heres a couple I found while you were out my love.

I was looking at getting that same scooter, but as i was talking to some motorbike guy I learned that the Yamaha Jog is the best 50cc, which is what I have now. They are very good for around town and are cheap.

Yeah the jog is a solid bike... as proven by our test. However, with regard to your query... All the SYM product tested so far has been bloody Good... I see no reason why the DD50 would be any different at least with regard to quality etc. without riding I couldn't comment on performance etc. If it is anything like the SYM Mio 50 it should be great.

I am in Hamilton as well Mom, commuting about on my Chinese Scoot, seen a few of the SYM's about, especially now as the "Scooterbar" seems to be benefiting from the petrol prices.....as Del says, they seem to be well made and reliable, so go for it!!:2thumbsup
