Only just a riff, but a very early one - 1951.
I also like the Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes version, but the original is the 'Big' Dave: motorcycle writer theme song.

This is great! Check out the vocalist guys antics.

It's a few pages back.
I bought the single when it was first released.
Edgar Winter's Frankenstein would get a run too but it's a keyboard riff - as it the Tornados 'Telstar' from the late 60s
