Dare I ask (looking at the thread tag), why you replacing your Quasigear with a different brand?

Oh hi.
I love teknic gears. I have had a few crashes in a teknic suit on the race track and it was almost pleasureable. No scratches bruises etc.
Have used their gear in the past and it seems well tailored and comfortable with great armor(farking important) . Most importantly solid leather but quite soft (supple is a gay word)

So yea not a troll but I have been supposedly trolling lately(wasn't me shaggy)

Oh and we must not speak of the other for pain of death

Yea I saw one or two synthetic jackets. There were more at motomail. But I want a two piece leather suit with armor.

Hi thanks yea they do but only some gear(a couple of items) Want to know where there is a shop that has two piece(leather) suits etc. I looked at some at a track day once. Really liked them and was told to go to mt eden but I took too long and now they dont have much if any. Maybe just cos its winter and they have synthetic in stock now.

Armour's (usually) replaceable, so it can be upgraded anyway.

Have you looked at getting a set made. It's about the same cost as a bought set just that it fits perfectly in the exact colour you want. The New Zealand leather is soft yet thick. Keri over at MSW does a great job. She's downstairs at St Kevins Arcade on K'Road.

Cheers mystic13 for the heads up.

Went to the baron yesterday. Found lots of cool stuff in teknic but I think the violator two piece suit was what I was looking at. I like the one piece serious race suit I saw at a motott track day better. Any one ever cut one in half:devil2: and made a two piece?

Yeah true, I guess there is that problem if it rips then you'd be exposed to the road...that wouldnt be too good..

That's a possibility, but if that part of the arm is on the road, chances are something nasty enough happened that you're shagged anyway

Its probably the 'just in case' fact, if you do survive its always good to have working arms I guess...
