That's a shame but totally understandable, light that fire/gas heater and enjoy the night in.

She wasn't kidding about the nametags! That woman's a power of organisation - good on you Chanceyy for organising the evening. Lots of good rabbiting on about bikes & the weather. And bikes. :)

Mentioned this video at dinner tonight, while discussing Triumphs with one well-known Manawatu-based Hinckley aficionado (who may have to build a bigger gargre to store all his trumpets, apparently) and he asked me to post the vid. Pretty sure I found it originally somewhere here on KB.

Thanks Horse it was a good nite for sure.
Awesome to see Robertydog & Gareth51 who travelled, along with the newbies Road King, Cleo, Gingin come along meet the usual crew. (Fingers crossed Cleo might have a bike by next sat so she can come out riding) Hope to see Gingin and Road King out and about soon :)
Then we had Moki & Littlebud, Scruffygit who post but had yet to meet some of the locals .. hopefully last nite took care of that :D
Of course the usual pirates 86 with his Bigggggggg buckle, along with a huge arsed grin about the new two wheels in the garage (will check that out later this morning). Mowgli looking great & awesome to see you healed up, Manwithav8 whom has been missing in action for a wee while .. but good to see you both out last nite.
Name tags just make it so much easier than "whats your name again" but thanks guys for coming great to catch up, & since monday is officially the first day of spring (even though this weekend is surely one outta the hat) see you all out on the roads soon

Yeah was a most enjoyable evening to be sure.
Thanks Sandra for jacking that up. :niceone:
Maybe that could be an annual or bi-annual event perhaps. Pity I had'nt arrive earlier to get around to see a few new faces before the sit down.
Hopefully these new faces I can catch up with on a ride or two at some stage.
Cheers all.

Was a good night although I was a little dissapointed in the venue, mainly timing and the food and lack of room (I hate large crowds) but great company all the same. Didnt get a chance to mingle a lot, that however was my fault. Good to put some more names to faces and meet a few more kbikers
Thanks for organising a great night out Sandra, Look forward to the next get together

welcome to the mad house and yes there is quite a few of us riding around palmy ...
soooooooo the threads that might interest you ..
then we have thread that is suppose to be just rides here (http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/showthread.php?t=73009) .. but one thing you will find out about the Manawatu lot is they talk a heap of crap & here is the thread about that (http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/showthread.php?t=55645) .. but with all make sure your on the last page or you will simply be trolling through a ton of crap
we also have a group set up .. but for some funny reason ppl like clogging the threads rather than post in here (http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/group.php?groupid=6)..
now if your not completely confused .. there will be a new thread started up for daylight savings Cafe runs on friday nites after work (relaxing way to start the weekend)
see you out there soon :done

Then there is the big wide ass bastards, use them to draft and save on gas....
Cowboyz is ok, he just likes them yukky green things......

Thanks for the welcome. fantastic to be back into bikes again. It keeps you young. I'm Feilding based working in PN. Hope to get put riding heaps and catch up with fellow riders. Still taking the speed runs a bit easy particularly through the bends.
