Went for Reservoir Dogs.

Being a film buff I've seen most of the obscure films that have influenced different scenes in most of his movies. But like the working of RD more than PF.

Talking of QT, I really liked the segment he did in Four Rooms. Liked the whole movie, and Tim Roths performance was stunning. But for me the last "story" was by far the best.

Reservoir Dogs wins on coolness factor.

Although I have to agree with Hitcher regarding From Dusk Till Dawn, Salma Hayek as a snake dancing Vampire - can't get much better than that! :niceone:

summin like:

"...and then I'm gonna get some hard pipe hittin' niggas to work on the homes here. I'm gonna get medieval on yo' ass!"

Priceless. :2thumbsup

And just to ruffle it up and go slightly off topic, what about Scarface  . Just watched it again. Love it.

Don't forget to keep it real with your mad Top Gun love Indy.

"I don't need you to tell me how fucking good my coffee is, okay? I'm the one who buys it. I know how good it is. When Bonnie goes shopping she buys SHIT. Me, I buy the gourmet expensive stuff because when I drink it I wanjt to taste it. But you know what's on my mind right now? It AIN'T the coffee in my kitchen, it's the dead nigger in my garage" QT

PF is the better of the two, but I will go with RD for down right coolness.

Jimmie: "No, let me ask you a question. When you came pulling in here, did you see a sign out in front of my house that said "Dead Nigger Storage?"
Jules: "Jimmie, you know I ain't seen no..."
Jimmie: "Did you see a sign out in front of my house that said "Dead Nigger Storage?"
Jules: [pause] "No. I didn't."
Jimmie: "You know WHY you didn't see that sign?"
Jules: "Why?"
Jimmie: "Cause it ain't there, 'cause storing dead niggers ain't my fucking business, that's why! "

"Listen kid, I'm not gonna bullshit you, all right? I don't give a good fuck what you know, or don't know, but I'm gonna torture you anyway, regardless. Not to get information. It's amusing, to me, to torture a cop. You can say anything you want cause I've heard it all before. All you can do is pray for a quick death, which you ain't gonna get."

"You ever listen to K-Billy's "Super Sounds of the Seventies" weekend? It's my personal favorite. " :ar15: :ar15: :ar15:

Reservoir Dogs is just the coolest. Only problem is the wife won't let me weatch it as often as I'd like as she can't stand the scene where Mr Blonde chops the cops ear off.

I can't believe none of you dicks quoted the "I'm hungry, lets get a taco" line:

FREDDY
What happens if the manager won't give up the diamonds?

MR. WHITE
When you're dealing with a store like this, they're insured up the
ass. They're not supposed to give you any resistance whatsoever. If you get a
customer or an employee who thinks he's Charles Bronson, take the butt of your
gun and smash their nose in. Drops 'em right to the floor. Everyone jumps, he
falls down, screaming, blood squirts out of his nose. Freaks everybody out.
Nobody says fuckin' shit after that. You might get some bitch talk shit to ya.
But give her a look, like you're gonna smash her in the face next. Watch her
shut the fuck up. Now if it's a manager, that's a different story. The
managers know better than to fuck around. So if one's givin' you static, he
probably thinks he's a real cowboy. So what you gotta do is break that son-of-
a-bitch in two. If you wanna know something he won't tell you, cut off one of
his fingers. The little one. Then tell 'im his thumb's next. After that he'll
tell ya if he wears ladies underwear. - [Pause] - I'm hungry, let's get a taco.

The scene between Jules and Brett must be one of the hardest scenes to equal...

I don't care how tough Arnie thinks he is when naked but for some DPM trousers, black boots, crossed bandoliers, artistically applied camo/War paint and a selection of contemporary man-portable weaponry; Jules would scare the fuck out of anyone, including Arnie.

It was a mercy, him killing Brett - spared the poor bugger the ignominy of going through the rest of his life with the same aversion to the word "what" as the Fonz had to the word "wrong" (when applied to himself, anyway)

Imagine if the poor bugger had survived:

Some bloke: Hey, Brety, can you *mumble mumble*
Brett: Wh- wh- wh- Pardon?

Some bloke: Hey, Brett!
Brett: Wh- wh- wh- Yes?

And let Jules eat my food and drink my drink? Hell, if he wanted seconds, I'd personally run to the shop to get some more.

I loved the way they were waffling about Mackers in Holland and foot massages one moment then "Let's get in character" and into this intimidating mode the next.

I love Pulp Fiction, it is my all time fav movie. When I am having a really bad day this is the movie I wanna watch. I love the above scene amongst many others....the first time I saw the movie the other person I was watching it with had fallen asleep (late at night) and I woke him up with my laughter over the scene where they accidently blew that guys head off in the car and then the subsequent dialogue around it having happened! Fucken Classic!

I could go on and on, but I won't. Perhaps I'll just go home and watch it again!

Yip the dialogues - they rock. hats off to QT for making awesome dialogues. Its quite drugies/gothie with bite and matey feel.
