Gonna start off in Clubmans first then see what happens....
I have a few questions regarding catch bottle positioning, tyre choice (running 2CT's @ the mo.), recommended race fairing set,& any other tips that may be helpful.
Will be starting off on my stock standard 04,but plan to slowly upgrade her as the $$$ become available as Im budget restricted...
Cheers..

There were a couple on here that used to race them, gpercival was one.

Get aquainted with ebay - it could make your racing a lot more affordable.

just use any normal race sorta rubber, pirelli super coras, conti race attacks, michlein power race, just your personal choice, since they all have grooves in them are road legal

Conti Race Attack "street" compound are good from cold, and are designed to work well without tyre warmers. They don't have the same outright grip as the medium or soft compounds, but you really want warmers to make those tyres work best.

I've run supercorsers without warmers.

Nope, podium finishes every race on board the SV without warmers mate.

If you're still venting the motor into the air cleaner box (as per 600 proddie rules), you don't need a catch bottle.

And, I strongly agree with Choppa, get the best tyres you can afford followed by the best suspension as you can afford it!

Yep its venting into the airbox,so your saying I dont need to run the overflow & breather for fuel to a catch bottle? Seeing as I just got one sorted & attatched with the 2 breather hose's & radiator overflow into it...
