buell are doing a repair for most xbr models between 2002 and 2005 (manufacture Dates)
here is a couple of links to see if your bike is involved but to confirm ring your local harley/buell service to see if they will replace yours

this is what is happening
ring service agent
confirm your frame number(stamped at the neck on your bike)
your service agent will order parts to be replaced (no charge to you)
all replacement parts are being released as of the 14 july nationally (USA)
with overseas shipments due approx 2 weeks from this date

booked mine in with amps on monday

Awesome, thanks Mate for posting that,

I just got off the phone to the Service Dept at our local Buell Dealer who are
following it up as I write, anyone else with a XB firebolt, it might pay to check the bulletin and then ring your Dealer.
