Sigh. If the grasp of physics (yes, that's how it's spelt), maths and chemistry is anything like the above demonstrated grasp of English (unless we're talking ESOL, which would be more encouraging), then I really worry about who's going to be aspiring to run our world in 10-20 years' time...

Anyway, congratulations to all who "passed" NCEA.

I thought that given our politically correct world nobody was allowed to "pass" or "fail" anymore and got credit for just turning up??

Smpl, evry1 wl b txtng.

TRANSLATION: It's elementry my dear Hitcher. The youth of today will simplfy all their words into hybrids, of letters and numbers, also often dropping vowels. This will be the new everyday speech pattern. There will also be no need of grammar or articulation. Quite simply my friend, evolution will bring us to the ideals of "Cellular Text Speak" of today.

Dont do it Hitcher , the world needs you!!!
You super powers of observation and years of mastery of the English language is needed to fight the villians of stupidity, bad spelling and laziness.

Anyway, congratulations to all who "passed" NCEA.

Heh heh. I'll wait until my papers arrive until I make a proper comment, but these results say achieved which means (without backcrediting) that I passed on the bare minimum. It could also mean that I did well in the merit and excellence questions but missed one or two crucial ones to obtain those marks.

I hope for the sanity of all around(not that much gets shown on here) that you never EVER prove this to be correct or otherwise Mr Hitcher
