hello, i have a 1994 suzuki rf400 v. its been running like a dog lately, had troubles starting, if i didnt catch it first time it would flood, then only way to get it started would be remove plugs and heat them up etc. running very rich, upto 6000ppm HC, and 4.5 o2. removed the carbs and cleaned them. replaced the spark plugs, etc, then it was fine for about 750k, "ran like new".
untill lately, exact same symptoms as before removed carbs inspected all is ok, cleaned again. put bike back together started fine hydrocarbons still high upto 1000ppm runs a little rough until its hot then it is perfect., untill this morning that is, would not start no matter what i did. basically has anybody had anything similar, and also im trying to find the carb settings for needle/ pilot jet etc, cant find them for rf 400 anywhere but lots on the rf600, are they the same ??
