I've just had an insane few days in Paris, visiting old friends, Bastille day celebrations, quick tourist tour and a small gathering of the old crew which turned in to a midnight trip down to the catacombes.

Along the way there was some bike content, not just the over abundance of Honda Transalps (almost one on each street corner) nor the manic shirt sleve riding of the 900cc scooter riders.

The real gem of the trip was a bike on the pavement chained to a fence. Road works going on all around... literaly around the bike!

There were also a few street legal quads and a yellow 900cc rotax powered backwards trike, just off the showroom floor.

Good to hear from you James, I thought you were away about now.

I'm am sure here our roadies would have just got out the bolt cutters and moved the gorgeous Honda Maggot - no respect for great machinery.

The Can Am (Rotax) looks a bit like a road going version of the jetski I was on last week, but with a smaller engine - haha.

Got to love the laid back attitude of the French. If that was in the UK they would have called the cops and had it crushed.

The effect of a moderate amount of peer preassure, an excessive amount of alcohol... and a burning desire to get mucky...
