I`m after some good leather pants with all the CE armour and knee sliders, but WITHOUT the stretch fabric that they all put in the crotch and behind the knees...some look like feckin rodeo pants!
I`m even willing to put up with the stretchy crotch (!!!!!), but want a full leather leg/calf area.

We have keprotech Kevlar in the crutch and behind the calfs in all our pants, its a non impact area and adds to the comfort and the stretch ability of the pants, good luck searching but if no success I will make you a pair no problems

Was that a scratchy crotch? .........;)
Matters mostly how it feels....more then how it looks.
Since leather doesn't stretch at all, it is great to have that stretchy stuff in it now.....
Did you try some on?....:scooter:

Thank Christ for the stretchy stuff behind the knees, the way it scrunches up would get sore pretty quick with all leather.

I've got a pair of leather pants with no fabric stretch panels (just stretchy leather bits). They kill my knees.
Stretchy panels are your friend.

Cheers for the replies.
Having never owned any leather bike pants, I`ll take your views on board.
Guess they put those stretch areas in for a reason huh....?
I`m kinda restricted to lower NI shops for try-ons, just a matter of getting the right fit (38"waist, shortish leg).
Checked out some Alpinestars in Palmy the other week, but seem to lack in any waist adjustment.

OK...
I`ve "seen the light" in regards to stretch panels and got a pair of Revit Pulse leather pants after much searching.
A wee bit firmish around the waist but have been told they will stretch out in time.
Overall fit for me and styling... feckin` outstanding!
Oh yeah, and cheers to Chris at Motomail for the sizing help and options.
See, some NZ dealers ARE good!
