Wondering which company does the best deal for bikers?

I'm over 25 and rider a 250. Bike is insured for $3.5K. Full cover quote was $650 and 3rd party was $250. Seen some quotes on other posts and think this might be a bit dear... any thoughts?

That sounds like a lot, do you have a full licence?
My partner is over 30, fully insured for $170 per year. Bike valued at $1500 though. (edit, she was on L plates)

Give Tim a call, 0800 65 62 64
He's always given me great service / prices. More importantly they (John baker insurance) are hassle free when it comes to claim time!

I'm with State.
Over 30, riding a 250, restricted license, Full cover for a ~$6K bike is a bit over $400 a year.
Not sure what my excess is, but it's probably $250 cause that seems standard.

I just recently requested a quote with Kiwibike Insurance, and they came back with $248.62 per year with a $250 excess.

So I might just move.

Give Kiwibike a call.
Good people and I have always had the best price from them. AND if things do end up going tits up and you do need to use their services and make a claim they are on to it quick smart. Well the were with me & had it sorted real quick.

Im with kiwibike - two disquals - and im paying $1400 for full cover on a $10k bike. Seems like a good deal to me, and if i keep clean for the first year the premium gets cut in half :-)

I got my learners about a month ago. Went to AMI and insured the bike for $2k. Only paying ~$350/year, they also said that after a year they'll drop it to $220. They said the main factor was the cc rating of the bike. Age, riding experience (or lack thereof) weren't as important. Overall I got everything sorted in about 20 minutes.

Now that sounds more like it Big Zappa! Are you talking full cover or 3rd party?

I've also got a house/contents and a couple of cars and been with them for years.... but I guess loyalty counts for squat!
