Was watching Metallica videos on C4. Good as always. Then something called Shinedown came on, playing Devour. And I was straight away smitten.

Why did I know nothing about these guys? Now I will have go and buy their albums!

Discovered these guys through my 15 yr old son so bought their "Sound of Madness" album. I play it a lot so now will have to spend some more money and buy the other two albums as well.....damn.:o Good listening, even for a geriatric old fart.:niceone:

Today I got their two earlier albums. (Us and Them, Leave a Whisper) to add to "The Sound Of Madness".

I do like! Sort of a HR mix with blues. Add some HM with melody and you have Shinedown.

So now I have two bands I am pestering to come to NZ: Shinedown and Nightwish!
