I have a set of USD ZXR forks that have worn through the chrome on the inners.

1. Who does hard chroming?
2. What is the potential cost to have both inners re-done?
3. Should I just find some second hand inners?
4. Or should I just dump them and buy another set?

Let the wisdom flow!!!

Talk to pussy. He has a contact in Hamilton who does aircraft undercarriage spec hard chroming for very reasonable prices.

Hey Toebug... the man you need to talk to is Russell Emery, the company he works at is Engine Components at Hamilton airport. He is a craftsman. Your forks will come back straight, round, perfectly parallel, on size, and with aviation quality hard chrome on them. I know of none better in NZ

I second that, good quality prep and chroming, good quality tolerancing and the surface finish you specify.

Ok, great recommendation! Do you have any idea of what it might cost?
