Do you own a property or rent your properties out to tenants?
I have heard a whisper that the insurance people are looking at refusing to pay out on claims that have been made where the premises have been used for manufacturing "P".
Obviously the chemical damage made to a house are having major effects on the costs of repairs, or even having to completely demolish and rebuild the property.
It might pay to check your policy when renewal time arrives.

Apparently you can get a policy which guarantees you payment if your forced to chuck the tennanats out,i.e no rent payments, damage caused by them due to being evicted, asked the lady so it would cover drug use like "p"and she said yes it would.Recieved the policy details yesterday and will check it out once time permits from shifting myself lol.Cost was approx $285 p/a,and is deductible expence.

Insurance companies generally don't pay out where criminal activity is involved.

This has always been the case, no cover for deliberate damage, tenated property or not. I used to recommend a landlord insurance policy that covered the "p" thing. You could only get it if you used a professional property manager.
Good advice here, ask all the hard questions of your insurers, every time no matter the policy!

A mate of mine has a number of rentals.
He has cracking up telling me that when insuring the properties he was asked, "would you like "P" with that?".
So it would seem that they do offer cover for an additional premium.

Am I the only one who thinks that is extremely scary?
