Oh, that'd be a nasty place to fall off. Narrow continuously-curving corridor between concrete barriers.

I thought the Onewa Road offramp heading south has been closed for a while now? Or did you mean onramp? Or am I getting mixed up?

I'm always very cautious when on that onramp - concrete barriers both sides on a narrow lane, crappy road surface, sometimes gravel & oil. Why couldn't they just keep the original onramp?! :nono:

Because that was way worse - on the same ramp, separated by nothing more than cateyes, it had traffic coming off the motorway southbound via a 270-degree left hand corner!

Great fun when trying to get one's knee down on a fine day.

Less fun in the dark and the rain hoping there's no spills on the road and trying not to go head on into a truck that's drifted wide around the bend.

It'll all be much nicer when the new interchange is complete.

Apart from the oncoming traffic it wasn't that bad, if I recall it was a larger and a smoother curve than the current one.
