Hey,

What exactly are the "on road costs" when you purchase a new motorcycle? I'm looking at getting a GT250R or a Ninja 250 07-08 and wondering how much and what the "on road costs" are?

Cheers.

Usually 6 months registration, and warrant...plus maybe a small amount of labour to fill the bike with fluids, test it all etc....maybe check all the bolt tightness
Expect to pay around $300 somewhere....you can pay more for 12 months etc...

Walk into the shop you are getting it from and ask. They will tell you the exact amount. Then ask for a discount :P

If you want an 07 Ninja then I know someone who wants to sell theirs for around $5k with some warranty left (6mths i believe)... no "on road costs" to be paid at time of purchase.

I hate how they have the ORC not included in the price! Almost as bad as +GST...

I get worked up over almost everything... you should've seen me when I got given the wrong change (the bastard tried to rip me off 50 cents). :2guns:

Yeah i agree... The "plus orc" is somewhat misleading as some bike shops don't even advertise that until you talk to them and then they inform you it's x-amount more...

I know in my business , if i was to do that people would get pissed off quickly.

If they won't include ORC's with 12 months rego go somewhere else. I've never paid ORC's.
