Saw this in another forum and thought..."Interesting Concept"

Ok, here's the deal. You have won the opportunity to go back in time, but you can only go back for 4 hrs. You can only be an observer and you can't do anything to change history. When and where would you go?

For me it would be back to the Cretaceous Period to see some of the largest creatures this earth has ever seen walk on land, the Titanosaurs of which the largest of them was over 44M long and 175Tonnes in weight...Beats an Elephant or a Blue Whale hands down....Oh T-Rex by comparison was about 3.5T in weight

I am sooo with you on that whole cretaceous period thing. Although come to think of it, I'd be just as happy to go back one million years to see just how human-like Homo erectus really was.

That almost seems creepy for some reason. I don't think I'd do that.

ha I know I thought about that after I wrote it... maybe just after I had been born, so I could see my parents first looking at me (without contempt)

OWW, fuck, good idea, 4 hours, long enough to see a concert!!

I change my mind, I'd go to an early Doors concert, that would kill about 3 hours including drinking time and then wander backstage and do Jim after

D Day.......

To see John Wayne in action would be truely orsum.

I'd like to sit in Edward Turner's office for a morning - see a few scribbles on his pad....see a few employees dealt with....Watch a monumental management bludder, and wish I could tap him on the shoulder and hint that he might reconsider....

I've always wanted to see the Chaos AD era Sepultura play.

Saw then in AKL Town Hall with the ARISE tour. That stands out as one of the best concerts I have EVER been to.
I have also seen Metallica, Iron Maiden, Anthrax and GnR (among others). But Sepultura was one of the best. Next day felt like my neck was broken. Could hardly look around.

I would like to see a Queen concert when Freddy was alive. I know I should probabaly have some noble of lofty thing like attend a public meeting with Aristotle or watch Archimedes running down the street shouting 'Eureka' or watch the expression on Newtons face as the apple hit him. Hear Shakespeare read his plays or something. But I am too shallow for that :)

Watch the original The Wall concert.

Milton Keynes, 1983 (from memory)

I managed to get paid to go to the concert.

My job was ferrying the bricks in while the wall was built during the concert.

Money for old rope.
