View Full Version : Gender?

Completely irrelevant and useless (though hopefully funny :devil2:) thread this may well turn out to be, here goes...

When I get a quote notification it always says...he has quoted you in a post you have made... or words to that effect. Sometimes these members are female :shit:

Now I want to embrace this PC world :blip:

Why cant the notification say he/she?

Though reading that I am reminded of my youngest daugher coming back from her paper round saying there was a he/she on one road she delivered that paper to. When I asked what that meant she told me there was an old man that wore a bra and full makeup with a skirt who came out to collect the paper from her. We saw it a bit later down the road...HE/SHE was apt.

Maybe KB could do like the baby books do...one chapter the baby is referred to as he, then in the next the baby is a she. I am pleased you brought this up though Mom, it is something that has kept me up at night on occasion

actually, given the fact that gender is a user-defined parameter in each profile, it's entirely possible to have the message state whichever is the relevant term, 'he' if it's a male, 'she' if it's a female and 'they' if the user chose not to divulge

Ferk off, next these bitches will want to be able to vote ( sort of like giving out reps). Just dont let them at the alcohol. They wont be able to handle it. I've seen the advertising.

Since I have chosen the "None of your business" option for gender I feel that KB is violating my privacy if it does indeed submit messages stating referring to my person as "he".

I firmly believe that this should be changed "it" which is thoroughly neutral and respect my wishes of privacy.

Thank you.

...and yes, I am only kidding.

If you'd done as many stooopid things on motorcycles as I have....you'd know NO amount of toilet papaer will help.

This is entirely how it should be Mom
It is an honour, after all, to be elevated to the mighty status of a "he". It is surely how all of us wish to be percieved, is it not, and the sole reason why I have been trying to cultivate masses of body hair.
I do wish I could be mistaken for a male...
