No, but I saw someone doing it as I was riding/driving towards the Sky Tower the other day. I thought when I'd seen it before on the telly that it looked wussy and slow, but seeing the silhouette of the person doing it, they actually looked like they were hurtling at quite a rate of knots.
I have no intention of doing it - not that I'm a chicken, I'd just rather do something a bit longer-lasting, like sky-diving, parapenting or whatever.

I can very highly recommend the Huka Jet (jetboat ride on the Waikato River 10 mins north of Taupo). I was sitting right at the side of the boat behind the driver and I was shitting myself. It was awesome.

Don't fancy jumping out of a perfectly functioning plane :gob:
The details we have of it say you drop at 75kph.. I know not that quick but from 630 ft up... should be quite a rush :)

There's not much that beats the rush of a fast run across the mountain on a warm summers morning... on an F4 before the "normal" folk get up :2thumbsup
The KDX sounds fun tho :yeah:

Yup, mad. ;)
Before you book/pay to do the jump thing, just go up the skytower and take a look around, it's bloody high up there. No way I'd ever do the jump, the fearfall at rainbow's end was bad enough for me.

Careful when you do this, mate was towing his dad behind his hilux on Muriwai on a knee board and his dad flipped and broke his kneck. Was lucky and nothing wrong with him now but with no cell phone coverage he had to transport his dad about 1/2 and hour very carefully until the ambo could be contacted!

Give the biscuit a go behind a boat, wicked fun.
Bungy jumping sounds awesome, I've allways wanted to try the one just out of Arrowtown.

Bungy has never appealed to me but as a youngster I always wanted to jump out of a plane with parachute. Had one jump from 3500 ft when I was thirty. Might do another one day.

At $195 for the privledge, I don't think so. One thing I can recommend is the bridge climb. Thats kicks ass and is well worth the price of admission (I won it in a raffle, so it cost me $5). And they bungy off that bad boy too and dunk your head in the harbour if you're dead keen.
Best bungy jump I ever did was a style the call "The Elevator". You go out of the platfrm backwards and balance on your toes, then jump backwards into the air and keep your eyes on the operator. It's just like the scene in "Die Hard" where Alan Rickmans character falls out of the skyscraper window with his arms flailing towards Bruce Willis. It's a rush.
